PARADIGM TRANSPORTATION SUITE (PTS)

The Paradigm Transportation Suite (PTS) is a suite of applications designed to significantly reduce the high labor cost of processing driver trip reports and streamline driver and fleet management reporting. PTS captures all the data recorded by drivers on charter, contract, line-run or internal trips including accounting of driver advances and expenses, fuel purchases by state, daily mileage by state and type of travel and payroll information.

PTS currently consists of the following modules:

Driver Accounting and Trip Reporting
Frees operators from the drudgery of paperwork and enables them to focus on mission critical activities. The Driver Accounting and Trip Reporting (DATR) module focuses on driver accounting from advance management through trip completion including expenses incurred and payroll data capture; mileage recorded for reporting with IFTA; and the capacity to manage and extract data to integrate with existing in-house payroll systems or external payroll services.

Business Intelligence
Business Intelligence (BI) enables the user to easily extract meaningful information from the volumes of data processed in your system. The BI module includes a robust reporting engine with the ability to create user-defined parameters or reports on the fly. The system includes operational reports focusing on vehicle utilization and availability as well as financial reports focusing on revenue and cost allowing users to get accurate profit and loss reporting by movement and by vehicle.

Advanced Payroll
Provides the capability to manage more complicated payroll rules, calculate gross pay and integrate into internal or outsourced payroll systems using the payroll extract routine. The Advanced Payroll module can handle complicated Union Rules, OT Rules, Holiday Pay Rules, Vacation Pay Rules, Guaranteed Pay Rules and Overlapping Pay Rules.

PTS Rate Management Module
Provides an easy way to create employee pay rate schedules. The PTS Rate Management (RM) module easily creates employee pay rate schedules which allows for pay rates to be specified and grouped by Contract, Booking Type or Employee Type. A structure can be setup to specify pay rates based on length of service along with range of time for which the pay rate is effective.

Employee Administration
Manages much of the driver-specific information required by regulatory agencies such as DOT. Employee Administration manages Training, Certifications, Licenses, Tests, Violations, Complaints, Incidents and Accidents. It may also be used to manage random drug testing.

Payroll Integration Tool
This tool is a data extract utility that can be used to take gross wages as calculated by the Advanced Payroll module and prepare a source file for use either by an in-house Payroll system such as that available with Dynamics GP, or to send to a payroll service such as Ceridian.

GL Integration Tool
This tool is a data extract utility that can be used to integrate data into an external ERP/General Ledger application such as Dynamics GP. The integration tool will extract invoice, payment and other AR data in relation to charters and contracts, to a staging area in which an integration can be created to import the data into your general ledger. The integration tool tracks which records have been extracted to ensure there is no duplication of data. It also provides a date cut off, allowing for accurate month end closing.
