The Paradigm Transportation Suite (PTS) is PTC’s powerful, business-focused suite of applications designed to significantly reduce the high cost of labor associated with processing your driver trip reports, and streamline your driver and fleet management reporting. PTS captures all the data recorded by drivers/vehicle movements including driver advances and expenses, fuel tank and pump management, human resources & payroll, maintenance costs and much more. The PTS Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing solution is powered by Microsoft CRM to bring a highly flexible solution to the industry providing companies with marketing, sales, and service capabilities that are fast, familiar and flexible to drive sales productivity and enhance customer relationships. PTS is designed to provide integration capabilities from any industry operational software’s data source enabling companies a cost effective and efficient solution to expand and extend their current software investment.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
The PTS Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing solution is powered by Microsoft Dynamics CRM to bring a highly flexible solution to the industry providing companies with marketing, sales and service capabilities that are fast, familiar and flexible to drive sales productivity and enhance customer relationships. Microsoft Dynamics CRM provides a comprehensive set of marketing capabilities, and highly customizable solution so you can target your customers effectively.

HR-Driver Management
Managing one of your company’s greatest assets, employees, begins with an HR solution to effectively monitor employee information to ensure you leverage employees efficiently, adhere to regulatory compliance, and standardize processes. PTS HR module is geared to the transportation industry to manage much of the driver-specific information required by regulatory agencies such as DOT. Leveraging I9, training, certifications, licenses, tests, random drug testing, violations, complaints, incidents and accident tracking areas provides a powerful employee administration solution to streamline and reduce the costs associated with labor management, workman’s compensation tracking, OSHA regulations, and audit readiness.

Driver Accounting, Payroll & Trip Reporting
Complete and accurate reporting is the goal of PTS Payroll – Labor Management solution by freeing operators from the drudgery of paperwork and enables them to focus on mission critical activities. The Driver Accounting & Trip Reporting (DATR) module’s work order/ticket and GPS linking capability streamlines data entry and ensures drivers are paid for only dispatched trips. Payroll and trips costs are easily managed from driver advance management through trip completion including expenses incurred and payroll data capture; mileage reporting with IFTA; and the capacity to manage and extract data to integrate with existing in-house payroll systems or external payroll services. For non trip related payroll the employee time worked area provides entry of hours by pay code utilizing pay rate rules, and capability to charge hours to optional job number tracking module.

The Advanced Payroll module provides the capability to manage more complicated payroll rules relating to calculate gross pay and integrate into internal our outsourced payroll systems using the payroll extract routine. The Advanced Payroll module handles complicated Union Rules, OT Rules, Holiday Pay Rules, Flat Pay Rules, Vacation Pay Rules, Guaranteed Pay rules and Overlapping Pay Rules.

PTS Rate Management provides an easy way to create employee pay rate schedules. The PTS Rate Management (RM) module easily creates employee pay rate schedules which allows for pay rates to be specified and grouped by Contract, Booking Type or Employee Type. A structure can be setup to specify pay rates based on length of service along with range of time for which the pay rate is effective. Rates are date sensitive to allow rate changes during same payroll period.

Payroll calculations are by employee or batch. Default payroll rules can be applied at the batch level for trip reports. During trip report entry the user can compare multiple pay options to select the applicable calculation where pay rules are based on higher/lower of rules.

PTS Payroll Integration Tool is a data extract utility used to take calculated gross wages and prepare a source file for use either by an in-house payroll system or send to a payroll service for check processing.

Fuel Management
The Fuel Management module is designed to capture tank/pump readings, fuel purchases and fuel usage. Controls are built in the solution to enhance integrity of entries and better manage fuel and monitor for leakage and theft.

Purchasing Controls
Scheduled trips can be imported into PTS Trip Reporting to leverage additional functionality and controls in PTS. In addition to labor management PTS Purchasing module links outsourced expenses such as contract drivers, contract vehicles and miscellaneous expenses to trips to track from expense authorization through receipt of invoice, and payment.

Payment requests can be applied to employee advances to process a check versus managing large amounts of cash at depots. Processed checks are applied to employee advanced and reduce reimbursable expenses on trip reports to avoid over paying expenses.

An extract is available as an option to push invoices to another financial system to issue payments. - This module is slated for release in 3Q 2010.

Executive Dashboards & Reporting
Business Intelligence (BI) enables the user to easily extract meaningful information from the volumes of data processed in your system. The BI module includes a robust reporting engine with the ability to create user-defined parameters or reports on the fly. The system includes operational reports focusing on vehicle utilization and availability as well as financial reports focusing on revenue and cost allowing users to get accurate profit & loss reporting by movement and by vehicle.

Data can be imported from any work order/ticketing system to leverage PTS’ flexible reporting engine and executive dashboards.
