[HAMILTON SQUARE, NJ — February, 2006] – Wayne Huang, Applications Consultant of Hamilton Square-based organization Paradigm Technology Consulting, LLC (PTC) will be speaking on “Expanding Microsoft Excel with Analysis Services Add-In” at the Institute of Management Accountants Princeton Chapter meeting which is being held at the Charlie Brown’s restaurant in Kingston, New Jersey on February 21, 2006.

About the topic: Microsoft Excel is a common tool in all industry to create spreadsheets and charts. With the Excel add-in for Analysis, you can extend the usage of Microsoft Excel. The Excel Add-in for Analysis Services enables users to access and analyze data from multiple Analysis Services Cubes. This add-in provides flexible and interactive reporting within the familiarity of Microsoft Excel.  Key benefits of this add-in are: 1) identify business trends, 2) increase reporting flexibility through customized and refreshable reports, and 3) access to multiple data sources.  Our topic on Feb 21st, "Expanding Microsoft Excel with Analysis Services Add-In," will provide an overview of the Analysis Services Add-in and how acquire this tool.  Additionally, this session will demonstrate the ease of creating free form reports and pivot tables.

About the speaker: Wayne started his career as a Systems Administrator for a networking and wireless company in New York, NY in March 2000 where he managed a Windows 2000 network, administered Windows 2000 Server and Exchange 2000 by using group policy in Active Directory.  He continued expanding his knowledge in the systems arena while working with a diversified manufacturing company in New York where he acted as project manager for one of their online initiatives.  He provided oversight for  the development of the corporate online catalog and global intranet deployment while attending college. Wayne graduated from New York University, Leonard N. Stern School of Business in New York, NY with a degree in Finance/Management in May 2001.  He then moved on to a technology consulting firm, also of New York, NY.  Here he gained the knowledge to implement both Microsoft back and front office solutions.  Wayne soon became a Microsoft® Business Solutions (MBS) Consultant in 2001 and has since received his Microsoft SQL Server Foundation certification.  He has performed MBS implementations, which entailed the kickoff meeting, installation and configuration, data conversions and imports, testing, end-user training and client coaching.  In addition, Wayne has performed MBS upgrades and migrations concentrating on Pervasive.SQL to SQL Server 2000 migrations while ensuring data integrity.
